Introduction

Summer is here, which means it’s the perfect time to play with bright colours, fun patterns and detailed designs. If you’re ready to take your nail art up a level, meet your new favourite tool: the Liner Brush.

This sleek, ultra-precise brush is a must-have for clean lines, intricate details and flawless finishes. Whether you’re just getting started with nail art or want to refine your technique, the Liner Brush gives you the control you need to create perfect summer sets with ease.

Why Nail Techs Love The Liner Brush

Our Head of Brand, Joely, shares why the Liner Brush is an essential in her kit:

“The Liner Brush is one of my favourite tools! It’s lightweight and just the right length, which makes it really comfortable to hold, even for long sets. The brush hairs are fine and taper perfectly at the tip, so you get super precise results every time. I use it for everything, creating French tips, refining Naturabuild and nail art.”

Summer Nail Art Trends To Try

Need a little inspiration? Here are some of our favourite summer designs to try with your Liner Brush:

Starfish Details

For a beach vibe, layer tiny starfish shapes over your perfect base. Use the Liner Brush to outline each arm of the starfish, then add dot accents or a touch of shimmer to make it pop.

Aura Nails

Aura nails are still trending. Once you’ve blended your base colours, use the Liner Brush to add crisp outlines, swirls or wave shapes for a dreamy, layered finish.

Hibiscus Flowers

Big, bold flowers are always a summer favourite. Use the Liner Brush to sketch out petal shapes with sharp edges and add delicate lines to give your florals extra depth and detail.

Coloured French Tips

Give a classic French a fresh twist by outlining tips in neon or pastel shades. The Liner Brush makes it easy to follow the curve of the nail perfectly, so your lines look sharp and clean.

Summer Fruits

Add a playful twist with tiny fruit designs - mini strawberries, cherries or slices of watermelon. The Liner Brush is perfect for painting the fine outlines, seeds and leaves that brings nail art to life.

Our Top Tips

How To Get Cleaner Lines & Precision

When it comes to cleaner lines and precise details, less is more. Use just a small amount of product, it’s always easier to build up than to take away. Unless you’re doing fine line work, try holding your brush so only the very tip of the bristles touch the nail. This helps keep your strokes sharp and under control every time.

Brush Care & Cleaning

Taking care of your liner brush is simple when you know how. Clean it regularly by spraying sanitising spray onto a lint-free wipe, then gently pinch the bristles and wipe upward to keep their shape. Always replace the lid after use and store the brush away from direct sunlight as gel can cure in the bristles if exposed to UV!

If you notice the bristles starting to bend or fray, don’t worry. Just dip the brush upside down into boiling water for a few seconds, and they should bounce back into shape.

Common Mistakes To Avoid

Never clean your brushes with acetone. It dries out the hairs and shortens the life of your brush.

All brushes need replacing eventually, depending on how often you use them and how well you look after them. If the bristles start to dry out and splay, it’s time to get a fresh one to keep your nail art looking its best.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are your brushes vegan?

Yes, the nail art brushes have synthetic hair.

Should I trim the bristles on my brush?

This should not be necessary, however if you would like to remove some bristles from your brush we would advise using cuticle nippers to remove the excess at the base.

If the bristles on my brush become damaged is there any way I can repair it?

Yes! We recommend that popping your brush into boiling water for a couple of seconds should reinvigorate the bristles, the result should be close to when you first bought it.
