To celebrate the launch of Modern Muse, we sat down with our Head of Brand, @joelyoceannails, who shared insight into how the collection was created, plus some exclusive behind the scenes from the shoot.
Where did the name Modern Muse come from?
The name Modern Muse for this collection was inspired by the idea of a contemporary muse - someone who represents a blend of creativity and sophistication.
The deep reds and purples in the collection express beauty and strength, qualities that resonate with the modern woman. We wanted a name that reflects both the classic allure and the forward-thinking spirit of our brand, making Modern Muse the perfect choice for this season's collection.
What inspired the colours of this collection?
Following on from why we called it Modern Muse, the shades are timeless and I know some of them will be our customers favourites for years to come.
We constantly get asked for more deep, dark shades and I feel like we've definitely done that with this collection. It's the perfect shade range for Autumn.
What was the inspiration for the shoot?
The inspiration behind this photoshoot was to capture the essence of the Modern Muse collection in everyday moments, emphasising how these deep reds and purples seamlessly fit into a sophisticated, contemporary lifestyle.
By focusing on lifestyle settings, we aimed to show how these bold, yet elegant shades can complement and elevate the daily routines of the modern woman.
What occasions can you see clients wearing these colours for?
I think clients will wear the new shades all the way into winter. They're perfect for everyday wear but also dress up an outfit for a special occasion/night out.
